Visiting Day
Have a conversation with your classmates about the following:
1. Tris's mother visiting her. Were you surprised she came? Were you surprised she came alone? What else did you learn about her mother?
2. Why did her mother come alone? (What excuse does she give for her father not being there? Why is that excuse odd?)
3. What accusations are brought up against Tris's mother?
And anything else you would like to point out about chapter 15.
I wasn't very surprised that Tris's mom visited her and I wasn't surprised that she came alone. It would make sense that her father wouldn't come because he was very upset with her for leaving the family

ReplyDelete2- her father was being selfish, her mom said that he had to work. her dad is never selfish
3- that she steals food from the factionless
I figured that one or both of her parents were going to come visit her, her dad had to "work" but he probably still felt betrayed by his children. That they were hoarding fresh foods/supplies for their own faction while all the other Factions didn't get fresh foods for months.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't surprised she came, but I am surprised she came alone. I thought her dad would've been nice enough to come too. Her mother is worried about Tris and is really caring. Tris's mother said her dad was "working". Tris's mother sounds like she used to be part of Divergent.

DeleteI wasnʻt all to surprised she came but if her father would have I would have been very supprised. I have also learned that her mother was also originally Dauntless.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't really surprised that her mother came to visit her, but I am kind of surprised that her dad didn't come along. With them being Abnegation, the selfless, you would think her dad would come for just the one day to visit and make his daughter happy. Instead he has to "work." We learned while her mom was visiting that she happens to know a lot about Dauntless, making us wonder if she may have been Dauntless herself. Also, while she was visiting, others started accusing her of hoarding fresh foods for Abnegations while all the other factions didn't get any for months.
ReplyDeleteGreat story i really like it. Nowadays daily routing of a student is very busy, But CD International School is not give too much pressure to the students and always encourage student to discover something new all time.
