- How could Todd better handle himself with the girl? Would you be as frustrated with her as he is? Why or why not?

- Why do you think she didn't speak before?

- How would her speaking to Todd change the events in the novel thus far? Would they have been improved? Or worse? Why?

      I think the girl talking to todd was a great improvement for the story. It was getting slow. If she took the entire book to say a thing I'd probably throw it out the window :)

    ~Todd could stop thinking she's dumb. He's always acting like she doesn't know what she's soposed to be doing or where she's going.
    ~She didn't think talking would have put them in a better situation so she was quite.
    ~If she talked, the situation would have change in a way that todd would probably be more attached or even angry at her for whatever reason.

    I think that the girl was afraid of talking to strangers, and she is in shock of what happened in the crash with her parents.

    I think the reason the girl didn't talk was because she wasn't so sure about Todd and she was still in shock form her parents dying.

    I think she didn't know what to say to him because of the way Todd is acting towards her in a way that she didn't want to say anything because he was yelling at her all the time.

    ~Todd could have been more patient with the girl, and I think I may have been able to handle myself a tad better then Todd has so far because I am a very calm person and have a lot of patients with people.
    ~I believe that she wasn't speaking to Todd because she just lost her parents after crash landing on a new planet and then to have Aaron attack her, most likely made her really nervous to speak to Todd.

    I think the girl was afraid to talk to him because she fears he'll do the same thing Aaron did to her.
